Big News | Lerwee CMDB V7.0 Officially Released
In the process of enterprise digital transformation, the management and optimization of IT infrastructure have become particularly crucial. CMDB (Configuration Management Database), as a powerful tool in contemporary IT operations and maintenance management, enables the visualization and intelligent management of enterprise IT assets, effectively improving the efficiency and quality of IT services, and has thus gained recognition and application from an increasing number of enterprises. However, the process of building a CMDB is fraught with challenges, with a high failure rate.
Lerwee CMDB is oriented towards scenario-based consumption, offering robust data collection capabilities. It can flexibly and efficiently automatically discover enterprise IT resources, and through standardized model construction, automatically identify and present a complete chain of resource relationships, achieving comprehensive resource management.

Recently, Lerwee CMDB V7.0 was officially released. Below are the key updates in Lerwee CMDB Version 7.0:
PART 01
Introduction of Graph Database for Configuration Item Path Analysis
Lerwee CMDB V7.0 has introduced a graph database, enabling the construction and management of relationships between configuration items through this database. It assists users in conducting path analysis, that is, finding the paths connecting two configuration items.
Users can specify the starting and target configuration items and obtain the path information connecting them through queries. This allows them to understand the intermediate configuration items and associated relationships traversed, as well as the length and complexity of the paths.

PART 02
Business View: Achieving Business Visualization
The Business View comprises two major sections: the Business Tree and the Business Topology. Centered around businesses, the Business Tree displays resources such as servers, databases, middleware, operating systems, and networks for each business system in a tree-like structure. The Business Topology can identify and illustrate the upstream and downstream relationships of businesses, while also supporting bidirectional integration with monitored business resources and topologies, enabling close collaboration between business services and the CMDB.

Link and monitor business services, with automatic synchronization to the CMDB.

PART 03
Data Center Topology
Levii CMDB 7.0 introduces, for the first time, a simulated data center view. Within the simulated data center floor plan, operations and maintenance personnel can customize the layout of the data center topology, enabling comprehensive digital management of the data center.
It visually displays the U-space capacity of racks as well as the associated resource equipment, and supports alerts for abnormal U-space usage and equipment warnings.

PART 04
3D Data Center Dashboard
The introduction of the 3D data center dashboard function enables digital twinning of the data center. It supports viewing information such as the overall U-space utilization in the data center, racks, equipment, data center details, and alarm information.

PART 05
Model Inheritance
The model inheritance feature simplifies the process of creating new models, enhances maintainability, and supports hierarchical relationships between models.
The new model will inherit the attributes and relationships of the parent model. This allows users to quickly create new models based on existing ones, avoiding the need to repeatedly define the same attributes and relationships.

PART 06
Compliance Check
A new compliance check feature has been added. The compliance check function is designed to ensure that configuration items and configuration data adhere to organizational standards. The system can inspect whether each configuration item complies with predefined compliance rules, such as whether configuration parameters are mandatory or if IP addresses are left blank.
This feature also supports cross-model and multi-path data auditing.

PART 07

PART 08
Audit Reports
Audit reports represent a significant new addition to the resource reporting capabilities. Through the audit report function, organizations can gain a comprehensive understanding of the status and quality of their configuration management data. This enables them to promptly identify and address potential issues, ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of their configuration management efforts. It helps enhance operational efficiency, reduce risks, and allows for the review of non-compliant models, non-compliant instances, as well as changes observed between the current and previous audits.
