Given the many limitations and shortcomings of Prometheus, Zabbix, and others, LeWei has begun to develop its own data collection platform. After 5 years of iterative research and development without cost, we have finally released our self-developed collection platform Perseus.<\/p>\n

The Perseus collection platform, as a self-developed data collection platform by LeWei, is also the data management center. Its capabilities include integration with public and private clouds, as well as various external platforms, automatic discovery and management of credentials and device genes, assets, etc. It not only supports self collection of monitoring data to meet the needs of building operation and maintenance monitoring from scratch, but also supports integration with third-party data sources to achieve system integration of the operation and maintenance system.<\/strong><\/p>\n Generally speaking, when faced with a large number of IT equipment, asset managers cannot have a clear understanding, which requires effective asset discovery, identification, and management capabilities. Perseus' asset auto discovery capability can efficiently solve this problem. Asset administrators only need to input IP network segments and credentials to achieve one click discovery (or even cross agent discovery) of assets and monitor and manage them, including but not limited to Linux, firewalls, switches, routers, etc.<\/p>\n Automatic asset discovery simplifies the monitoring and management process. For asset administrators, it can reduce manual configuration work, improve asset management efficiency, and enhance the speed and accuracy of monitoring system management. Perseus supports centralized management of agents, which can automatically install, uninstall, and upgrade agents, and supports batch operations such as batch installation, uninstallation, deletion, etc. It also provides manual installation and proxy proxy solution installation. In addition, after the successful installation of the agent, the host will automatically add monitoring by default. The Perseus collection platform is compatible with dozens of protocols and supports automatic adaptation of genetic technology, which can meet the monitoring and collection needs of both information and non information technology software and hardware. It covers 500+manufacturers and 6000+device models, including traditional IT infrastructure, public cloud, private cloud, containers, IoT, and more. As the underlying data collection and management center, the Perseus collection platform has rich data interfaces that can be used by various upper level applications to call and consume data, including monitoring, network management, traffic, etc CMDB\u3001ITSM\uff0c Even third-party logs APM\u3001 Observable platform, AiOps algorithm platform, etc.<\/p>\n For example, by calling Perseus to generate (self collected or converted) data, the monitoring platform can generate rich visual charts. Perseus is not just a data collector. In addition to self collecting data, it can also integrate with third-party data sources, such as Prometheus \u3001Cacti\u3001Loki \u3001Telegraf \u3001OpenTelemetry \u3001 SkyWalking \u3001Zabbix Wait.
